Help with QCeedo

A real person reads this inbox. Usually same day, always within one working day.

Fastest route: hello@qceedo.com. Tell us your company name and, if something went wrong on a phone, the build number shown on the Profile screen — it is how we tell an out-of-date app from a real fault.

Getting started

Common problems

A cleaner has been signed out

They sign back in with the email and password they set, or with Face ID. Please don't send them a new code for this — a new code makes a second account, and anything they had not yet sent stays with the first one.

If they joined before passwords were asked for and never set one, send a new code. Then open their record under Manage → Staff and use Move their work across to bring their earlier work onto the new account.

A cleaner's code will not work

Codes have no letter O, digit 0, letter I or digit 1 — if someone read one out over the phone, that is usually the confusion. Every code works once. If it has been used or switched off, issue a fresh one from Manage → Staff.

The app looks out of date, or a button does nothing

Almost always an old copy on the phone. Close QCeedo completely, reopen it, and check the build number on the Profile screen against the one we quote you.

Photos or a report have not reached the office

Anything done with no signal is kept on the phone and sent when it reconnects — that is normal. Ask the cleaner to open QCeedo while on wifi or mobile data; in the browser, photos only go up while the app is open. If something is stuck, the phone says why, and so does the office's view of the job.

A job was finished by accident

The cleaner can undo it themselves for two hours afterwards. After that, an administrator can correct it from Manage → the property → Visits & reports → Correct, with a reason. Nothing is erased either way: the correction is added to the record and printed on the report.

A job will not start — "Location is off"

QCeedo needs one location fix to start a job. Check that location permission is granted for the browser or the app, and that the phone is not in a low-power mode that restricts location. Indoors a fix can take a few seconds longer than usual.

Somebody forgot to clock out

Paid time stops at their last real work — the last room or photo — plus the grace period your company set in Manage → Settings. Both the time the phone claimed and the capped time are kept on the job, so you can see exactly what happened.

Billing

Subscriptions are handled here on qceedo.com, never inside the app — the apps contain nothing to buy. QCeedo is $79 a month for the whole company. When subcontractor invitations launch, each subcontractor adds $10 in any month they accept a job. To start, change or cancel a subscription, write to hello@qceedo.com.

If a company's free period ends without a subscription, the account goes read-only rather than dark: nobody can start new work, and every record you already have stays open.

Getting your data out

Manage → Settings → Backup downloads your clients, properties and settings as a file. For a copy of your full records — visits, reports, hours and photographs — write to hello@qceedo.com.

Deleting an account

Anyone can delete their own account in the app: Profile → Delete my account. It removes their sign-in and their name; the cleans they did stay with the company, because they are the company's records. To delete a whole company, write to privacy@qceedo.com. See the privacy policy for what is collected and what your rights are.

Reporting a security problem

Write to security@qceedo.com with enough detail to reproduce it. We will acknowledge within two working days and we will not take legal action against anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it.
